Why would you use diet pills?
Why not just eat healthy (not less) - just choose clean healthy proteins and fresh vegetables and workout?
Eating "less" doesn't make you lose weight, but controlling portion sizes and eating clean foods does, when combined with workouts.

Just some insight...

Recently, I found out that I was allergic to yeast! Thus I cannot eat sugar, bread, cake, and anything that contains yeast or sugar. It is so depressing! I love my bread!!!! It's the easiest thing to eat in the whole wide world!

Sometimes just letting it run its course is the best thing to do. Symptoms are there for a reason, and it's to purge our bodies of whatever is attacking it and making us ill.

However, sometimes we must intervene. I only take cold medicine when I'm going to bed, because I won't get good sleep otherwise. During the day, however, I suffer through the symptoms (within reason) because I will get over it faster if I allow my body to get rid of the virus. Same with a stomach bug. You have to let your body get rid of it. However, if you're throwing up so much that you aren't keeping anything down, it's time for some zofran, or you'll deal with dehydration and other problems.

My family recently had a nasty stomach bug. It started with our youngest, and I was worried at first about dehydration, but he was okay. Our oldest, however, didn't keep anything down for 24 hours, so we took him to the ER and he got an Rx for zofran, and that helped him keep things down. He lost weight and was nearly dehydrated, it had to be done.

Bottom line - being sick stinks, right? lol But if it weren't for the symptoms, we wouldn't get rid of the viruses and bacteria that are invading our bodies.

You're in Canada? Where were you before Canada? The U.S.?

Hi there!

I found your blog just yesterday through EntreCard and I like it. :-) I'm definitely coming back.

Well, I know a remedy for high colesterol which a Peruvian shaman told me and as far as I know it works. You have to eat raw garlic every day until your colesterol is back to normal. If you take it with your meals and drink A LOT of water you won't hardly notice the flavour (I know, I know, that is a lie... *lol*). If you have garlic in all the meals you prepare, the people around you won't notice your bad breath. *rotflao*

Take care!!! Bye bye...

Most people get Diabetes because of the lack of exercise and overeating. We should be more aware of our lazy lifestyles and start exercising regulary to avoid Type II Diabetes.

I'm glad to hear that Missy Moo don't have to have surgery. The ENT doctor here is a Jerk. My son refuses to go to him anymore and my son has lots of hearing problems. The ENT doctor here was extremely mean to my son and also kicked toys in front of him when he was way younger. It scarred him for life and if I even mention that doctor's name in front of my son he freaks out (even now years later). We now travel to Halifax to see the ENT there and my son loves him. He is so patient and kind with my son and not too long of a wait to get in to see him. If you ever have problems with the ENT here just ask me about the ENT in Halifax and I'll tell you all about him. Hopefully for all the kids here in Y-town, the ENT here has changed his ways for the better. Good luck with Missy Moo. See ya soon.

This is interesting. I'm currently on Metformin too. How many milligrams is your half a tablet? I didn't know you could take half a tablet, perhaps that's what's better for me. I currently take 1 whole tablet of 500mg at night and feel sickly all day the next day. Do you have any side effects from the meds?
