Hi there!

I found your blog just yesterday through EntreCard and I like it. :-) I'm definitely coming back.

Well, I know a remedy for high colesterol which a Peruvian shaman told me and as far as I know it works. You have to eat raw garlic every day until your colesterol is back to normal. If you take it with your meals and drink A LOT of water you won't hardly notice the flavour (I know, I know, that is a lie... *lol*). If you have garlic in all the meals you prepare, the people around you won't notice your bad breath. *rotflao*

Take care!!! Bye bye...

Most people get Diabetes because of the lack of exercise and overeating. We should be more aware of our lazy lifestyles and start exercising regulary to avoid Type II Diabetes.

the H1N1 or Swine Flu virus did put our country in disarray for quite sometime, it is good to know that at least it did not cause so many deaths.

I'm glad to hear that Missy Moo don't have to have surgery. The ENT doctor here is a Jerk. My son refuses to go to him anymore and my son has lots of hearing problems. The ENT doctor here was extremely mean to my son and also kicked toys in front of him when he was way younger. It scarred him for life and if I even mention that doctor's name in front of my son he freaks out (even now years later). We now travel to Halifax to see the ENT there and my son loves him. He is so patient and kind with my son and not too long of a wait to get in to see him. If you ever have problems with the ENT here just ask me about the ENT in Halifax and I'll tell you all about him. Hopefully for all the kids here in Y-town, the ENT here has changed his ways for the better. Good luck with Missy Moo. See ya soon.

This is interesting. I'm currently on Metformin too. How many milligrams is your half a tablet? I didn't know you could take half a tablet, perhaps that's what's better for me. I currently take 1 whole tablet of 500mg at night and feel sickly all day the next day. Do you have any side effects from the meds?

My 15 mth old girl had just had a cold and cough right after Thanksgiving. The phleghm and cough was so bad it bothered her when she slept. I have now started her on "Scotts cod liver oil". Do you remember that back in the old days we use to have to take them? My grand aunt use to tell me that they help make me "stronger" so I won't get sick. My son (who is going to be 8 come Feb.) won't take them coz he says they taste yucky..."fishy" I suppose. But I am really adamant on putting the little one on it to build up her immune system coz she is so skinny...everytime she gets sick, she gets skinnier. It freaks me out when Matthew is sick (brings some kind of germs back from school)-I worry and watch Jasmine for signs and symptoms...such a germ freak, huh? That's what my hubby calls me. Let me know if u can't find them in Yarmouth....take care n good luck!

I have been reading your blogs and watching the movies that you upload. So, I came upon this "wind in your tummy" problem after your surgery. Have you tried japanese plum balls? ume balls? I get a lot of gas after eating spicy foods( I guess my body does not agree with it) but I am reluctant to give up spicy food. I saw my uncle taking them one day, and decided to give those plum balls a try. Now everytime I get bloated or gassy (till it hurts and pulls on my shoulders), I take 3 balls - they recommend 5-10 but it's natural,so it won't hurt. Read more about the benefits here http://www.maysbeautyhouse.com/site/1389281/page/725201

You can probably buy it @ your local health food store. I get mine from my local store for US$17.75+tax for 260 balls. The brand I use is from Eden foods. Try it, it works for me, my sis. and MIL. Hope it helps you too!
