New Outlook For The New Year
Yes ! a new outlook for the new year for my health and to start off the new year – we are heading to our cottage to re-decorate with some rustic log furniture that we had bought last month. The cottage will be used for our weekend getaway once a month – or whenever we get chance – especially during the summer. We are finally closing the cottage down for the winter and will be running it in the spring. We feel that by using more of the cottage – it would relieve our stress and make us do things together instead of just going on the computer always. Rustic log furniture are great because it gives us so much warmth in our life and we feel like we are living harmoniously. The rustic log furniture blend into our cottage so well – we just loved it.
Making A Sick Girl Happy
Missy Moo had been sick for a week now – and it had been a very tiring week. From going for blood test – and x-rays to screaming kid – and throwing up and diarrhea and hacking her lungs out – it wasn’t an easy week. But a dear friend who sells mobile homes brought one over – and told Missy Moo that she can go camping in the mobile home packed just in our driveway – thus making it like a holiday. How sweet is my dear friend right? Missy Moo was suspected to have pneumonia – therefore, our friend suggested she sleeps with one of us in the mobile home – that way Mr Moo won’t get infected in case she really does have pneumonia. What a great idea right? I mean what could be better than that – a home by itself – yet so near to our home- and definitely useful – now we are thinking of getting a mobile home to park in our backyard just in case one of us gets ill – and don’t want to spread the germs.
Good Sofas For A Better Back
I watch a lot of shows on tv – so the spouse had wanted to get this chaise lounge for me for my birthday – but because I have a bad back – we decided instead to get some contemporary sofas for our living room. You see – our basement is done renovating this summer and we had just moved our living room furniture to the basement. We had agreed many years ago – when buying this house of ours – that the living room will be all mine to decorate – when the time comes. But now that I have a back problem – i have to buy some sturdy sofas – but I don’t want the ordinary or black looking ones – i want color – a good sofa need not be dull color right? so yes modern sofas it is for me – without giving up on the health concern – i’m sure I will find one that is good for my back and good on the eyes.
Gardening Is Therapeutic
Gardening Is Therapeutic – if you haven’t tried it – you should. I find it very calming and kinda accomplished feeling – plus when the flowers bloom during Spring and summer – it gives you a unexplained glow. So when I received my first Mechanix gloves during Christmas last year – it was one of the best gift – that i made used of constantly during the early spring days – and summer. Come this fall – i’m also gonna do some planting and replanting with my gloves. It’s so comfy and lets my hands breathe and it’s not sweaty wearing them at all – maybe that is why i could do my gardening since it kept me warm as well without making me feel uncomfy. So if you are like myself and needs calming or needs alone time – try gardening – don’t forget to get a good set of gloves.
Keep Those Burglars Away
In our store, we didn’t put up motion sensor lights till we got broken into one year. Reason being was .. we did have motion recording .. in the store.. but that didn’t help the cops because it was way too dark to see the features of the burglars. So we invested on some motion sensor lights.. to be prepared for the next time. Of course no one wants to be robbed or broken into .. but we are prepared now.
Living In The Right Estate
When we bought our first house.. we were very new .. and quite naive.. but we wanted to make sure .. we were in a good neighborhood of course. Little did we know that our neighbors.. can affect our life .. and our health. You might think i am kidding.. but i kid you not, when you have a neighbor drilling or cutting wood at close to midnite.. it is not fun. So if you are investing .. or thinking of moving to another real estate, choose wisely.. else you would be like us.. looking to move once again.
One Cup A Day
I don’t know about others, even though i love my tea.. i still need my daily cup of coffee from our friendly local coffee shop. Some said.. because of the high caffeine in it .. they get us addicted. With coffee makers so cheap and affordable.. i think i may just brew my own coffee beans instead. That way i know exactly what i put into my body.
