Snack Without The Extra Calories

Snacking without the extra calories is not only for diabetics I think – I think no one wants to put on more calories than they should.   So here are a few examples – on some of the snacks that wouldn’t put you out or make you worry about the extra calories – do try them – recommended by diabetic living and things I would eat and snack on.

Pear and cheese is one of them – Raisin and pumpkin seeds (but be careful with the raisin – because it’s very sweet and must contain high content of sugar), half a whole wheat bagel with some low fat swiss cheese or cheese toast made from whole grain melba toast – 3 slices and my favorite – is apple and peanut butter – try the low fat peanut butter and you can also try crackers and cheese – of course go for the whole wheat crackers and the low fat cheese please.  Well, these are the few that I eat – hope it helps you as much as it did for me.
