Multi-Vitamins Or Vitamin C

So we all caught the cold – one after another – in fact this cold is really hard on me because it doesn’t wanna go away – 10 days later – i’m still sneezing everyday.  It doesn’t help that we work around people/customers – people who are sick and they don’t feel bad about getting us sick.   So I was told by a friend to take lots of Vitamin C but what about the advice from the pharmacist to take Multi Vitamins?  So what is the difference between the two..??

Well, firstly we all know that having daily nutritional meals are more important than taking any supplements – but multi-vitamins are said to contain Folic acid, Vit D, Vit B12 and Iron – so it doesn’t have Vit C.   I hear that taking Vit C decreases the risk of bladder cancer.   But Vitamin C are mostly for people who needs a boost in their immune system for colds, strengthens one’s bones and quickens the healing.  It is said that Vit C strengthens the blood vessels which leads to stabilizing your blood pressure.  So there you have it .. both Multi – Vitamins and Vitamin C are totally different and does different things.
