Pap Test
I am doing my Pap Test really soon, although i hate it.. not only because of the discomfort, it is quite a thing to be spreading your legs wide .. for another man even though he is your doctor to see your most private part of your body. For those who don’t know what a Pap Test is .. it is also called a Pap smear. A pap smear is a simple test that can help protect you from cervical cancer. A pap test is a great way to detect abnormal cervical cells before they get a chance to develop into cervical cancer. So don’t forget to get your Pap smear on a yearly basis.
A Pap smear is being done during a pelvic exam when the gynae check to make sure that parts of your reproductive system are healthy and also screens you for out STIs. A Pap smear is not painful at all.. just kinda embarrassing.. so get a lady gynae if possible.. but like me.. i didn’t have a choice. Small town .. no female gynae.
Irritable Bowel Drugs
There is help for men and women out there who have the Irritable Bowel Syndrome now. Thousands of ppl are affected by IBS and this is the first approved U.S. drug to treat irritable bowel syndrome with constipation in adult women, a medicine marketed by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co and its developer, Sucampo Pharmaceuticals Inc. The drug, Amitiza, was approved for women over 18 years old, but not for men, because its effectiveness was not conclusively demonstrated, the FDA said in a statement. Irritable bowel syndrome is a disorder characterized by cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea. It affects twice as many women as men. This is really good news.. because I know of a few ppl who suffers from IBS.
